This online training was produced in 2019 in conjunction with Tallaght University Hospital & funded by the Nursing & Midwifery Planning & Development Unit - Dublin South, Kildare & Wicklow. This training course provides training about autism directly aimed at healthcare and medical professionals interacting with autistic children and adults in acute hospital settings. It aims to increase medical practitioner & professional knowledge about autism to support autistic patients attending adult & children’s services at hospitals nationwide to have their specific access needs accommodated, & for staff to provide a calmer experience for autistic patients receiving treatment.

These views & resources belong to the training's authors & participants, & do not necessarily represent or reflect the views of AsIAm or the autism community.
